"Marine Venus" was originally commissioned by Expo 67 and sponsored by the House of Seagram. The sculpture was exhibited at Expo 67 and "Man and his World" in Montreal. It was donated to Dalhousie University at the request of the House of Seagram, and is a marble organic sculpture set on a circular base on a concrete pedestal.
