"The Wave" was commissioned by the Halifax Waterfront Development Corporation, and is constructed of blueish-green, ferro-cement. The sculpture rests on the ground and stands 12 feet high and 30 feet in diameter. Under the tip of the wave is a shallow hole on the ground holding a small amount of water.
