Our Philosophy

• Prompt response to calls for service
• Enforcement of all statutes, federal, provincial and municipal
• Solve crime through investigation of offences, collection and analysis of evidence, gathering information from informants, and other sources such as Crime Stoppers and surveillance
• Crime prevention through public service talks, messages and promotion of crime prevention programs such as Operation Identification, Neighbourhood Watch, etc.
• Referral to other social or government agencies
• Public education through programs to inform and educate the public about problems in their neighbourhoods, or talks on timely topics, encouraging community involvement with police
• Problem solving hand-in-hand with the community to both prevent crime and advance community safety.
