Halifax Regional Police keeps citizens informed about crimes/crime trends, public safety issues, crime prevention tips and good news stories through police reports and media releases.

Police reports are issued at the end of each 12-hour shift and published to the website by 11 a.m. the following day, Monday through Friday with the exception of holidays. Media releases are published to the website upon release, Monday through Friday with the exception of holidays.
