Police Report June 21, 2012

GO #12-89579 - Assault With a Weapon - At approximately 8:15 p.m., police responded to a disturbance call at a rooming house in the 1300 block of Henry Street in Halifax. Two male residents of the house had gotten in to an altercation with each other. One of the males pulled out a knife during the fight and the other male sustained cuts to his hand and arm. The 43-year-old victim was taken to hospital where he was treated and released. The 45-year-old suspect is in police custody and will be appearing this morning in Halifax court to face charges of assault with a weapon.
