March is Fraud Awareness Month

As part of Fraud Awareness Month, HRM Partners in Policing will be educating citizens on how to avoid being victims of a fraud.

Each year the HRP/RCMP Integrated Financial Crime Unit investigates a wide range of fraud related complaints, including identity theft, bank card skimming, and phone and internet scams.

During the month of March, a release will be issued each week with information on a different fraud related topic, including tips to help limit your risk of becoming a victim.
