The Halifax Regional Municipality is a safe place in which to reside. Most major crimes, such as homicides, result in parties being convicted and sent to jail. However, sometimes crimes go unsolved.
Of these outstanding cases, the police have identified likely suspects in most of the incidents. Often what is lacking is one piece of corroborating evidence necessary to proceed with charges likely to win a conviction in court.
Anyone with information regarding any of these major unsolved crimes is asked to contact police at 490-5016.
