HRP salutes its volunteers

HRP salutes its volunteers during National Volunteer Week, April 15-22.

As part of National Volunteer Week (April 15-21), Halifax Regional Police (HRP) is recognizing its volunteers who make many of our community outreach and crime prevention programs possible. Collectively HRP’s volunteers, numbering in excess of 120, contribute over 15,000 hours of volunteer time each year, helping to make our community a better place to live, work and play.

More information on volunteering with HRP is available at http://www.halifax.ca/Police/getinvolved.html
