Bloomfield Master Plan
Since May 2008 the Halifax Regional Municipality in conjunction with MacKay-Lyons Sweetapple Architects and Colliers International worked to develop a master plan for the regeneration and future development of the Bloomfield Centre property.
This HRM-owned property is located in a vibrant and growing community in the Northend of Halifax.
The purpose of the Bloomfield Master Plan is to outline a future vision and conceptual framework for the physical regeneration and re-use of the site.
The master plan has been shaped by solid urban design, community development and economic principles.
Following a public review period the Master Plan was presented to HRM Regional Council and approved on Tuesday, September 8th, 2009.
