Workshop participants were asked the following questions while they worked in groups around maps of the Dartmouth Common Study Area:
1. Focus: Dartmouth Common Study Area
Perception:
What does the Dartmouth Common mean to you?
Use:
How do you use the Dartmouth Common?
Value:
What aspects/areas of the Dartmouth Common are precious to you and why?
Comfort:
Where do you feel comfortable/unconfortable in the Dartmouth Common?
Opportunities:
If you could make changes that would improve any of the characteristics above, what would they be?
2. Focus: New Transit Terminal, Dartmouth Sportsplex, Dartmouth High School
Integration:
How should the three facilities be integrated and connected?
Interaction:
How should the three facilities interact with the surrounding land uses?
Design:
What should the new transit terminal look like, what amenities should it offer,
and what materials should it be built of?
