Lake Banook Parks & Beaches
With the conclusion of the 2009 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships the parks and beaches around Lake Banook are open for public use. Please note the beach at Birch Cove Park Cove Park will have lifeguard supervision again in 2010.
The beaches at other parks around Lake Banook (i.e, Lion's Beach Park, the trail over the North Dartmouth Trunk Sewer, and Graham's Grove Park) are not supervised by lifeguards. Please use them at your own risk and discretion.
HRM thanks the public for their patience during the construction phase of the world championships.
