Off Leash Areas in HRM Parks

Five park areas have been developed for the off leash area program:

• Shubie Park

Please note that trespassing complaints from property owners near Sunrise Beach have been received recently. Dog owners should not allow their pets to leave the off leash area. It is essential that owners only allow dogs with effective recall skills to be off leash in this area.

• Fort Needham Memorial Park

• Dartmouth Commons

• Sandy Lake Park

• Hemlock Ravine Park
