HRM Hosting Off Leash Park Workshops
A series of workshops will take place July 31 - August 8, 2007 throughout HRM to address design requirements for 5 temporary off-leash park areas beginning in the Fall of 2007.
Area Councillors are urging pet owners to be patient until the one-year trail project begins at the five new park areas and to participate in the upcoming HRM workshops to provide staff with the necessary input to properly develop the off-leash park guidelines.
Design workshops are scheduled for each of the five parks that have been selected for the pilot program (they are currently NOT designated off leash areas).
