About 90 residents joined the Bedford Waterfront Community Liaison Group (CLG) for a presentation on the vision and action plan for the Bedford Waterfront approved by HRM Regional Council fall 2007.
The CLG asked residents to consider membership on a Vision Implementation Committee and for interested residents to join subcommittees for the four major themes of the Action Plan (PDF, 134KB) - Development and Design; Transit and Transportation; Community Facilities and Infrastructure; and Environment. Application forms were available at the meeting and on the website.
Bedford Days
More than 300 copies of the Draft Vision for the Bedford Waterfront were handed out during the kick-off of this year's Bedford Days festival.
Members of the Bedford Waterfront CLG were on-hand on Wednesday, June 27th, 7:00-9:00pm.
