The new Vision Action Team (VAT) is a team of volunteers from the community. They work with HRM staff and other community stakeholders to implement the Community Vision.
The VAT will also be part of a Community Planning Process for the former Penhorn Mall site.

Vision Action Team Recruitment:
Two events were held in the community:
- A Community Presentation [pdf, 1.2MB] on Monday, November 8, 2010 in the gymnasium of Alderney School, 2 Penhorn Drive, from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
- An Information Display at the Woodlawn Library, 31 Eisener Boulevard. HRM Staff were on hand to answer questions on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
An Expression of Interest form was also available.
