Click on the Search button above for descriptions of approximately 70% of our Archives and Reference Collection holdings. Published reports and books from the Reference Collection are catalogued as items. Archival records are first described as high-level series, not item-by-item, although some photographs, maps and plans do have item-level representation in the database.
Note: This database contains links to some digital content (ie. scans of documents or photographs), but for the most part it is a catalogue of our holdings - you can search for types of records, dates, records-creators, the activities/functions documented - but not for the actual content of the records.
To search for archival holdings in other Nova Scotia archives, as well as HRM, use MemoryNS from the Council of Nova Scotia Archives.
