We at HRM are endeavouring to make these and all the HRM web pages completely accessible to all. At this time, there are resource and technical difficulties which make this difficult. However, there are many techniques you can use to make your visit to all sites more accessible.

Netscape Navigator

  1. To change the typeface and size of the typeface used for body text, select Options | General Preferences... and click the Fonts tab.Click the Choose Font... button and select a more suitable font from the Choose Base Font dialog and click the OK button. Click the OK button to reload the page.
  2. To change the background colour, select Options | General Preferences... and click the Colors tab.Click the Custom radio button on the Background line and then click the Choose Color... button. Choose a more suitable colour from the Color dialog and click the OK button. Finally, select the Always Use My Colors, Overriding Document check box. Click the OK button to reload the page.

  3. To change the colour of the typeface used for body text, select Options | General Preferences... and click the Colors tab.Click the Custom check box on the Text line and click the Choose Color... button. Choose a more suitable colour from the Color dialog and click the OK button. Click the OK button to reload the page.

  4. To change the hyperlink colours, select Options | General Preferences... and click the Colors tab.Click the Custom check box on either the Links or Followed Links lines and click the Choose Color... button. Choose a more suitable colour from the Color dialog and click the OK button. Click the OK button to reload the page.

Microsoft Internet Explorer

  1. To change the typeface used for body text, select View | Options... and click the Font Settings... button.Click the Proportional font drop down list box, select a more suitable font and click the OK button. Click the OK button to return to the page and apply the change.

  1. To change the size of the typeface used for body text, select View | Fonts and from the cascading menu select a more suitable size.

  2. To change the colour of the typeface used for body text, select View | Options... and uncheck the Use Windows colors button. Click the button on the Text line and choose a more suitable colour from the Color dialog and click the OK button. Click the OK button to return to the page and apply the change.

  3. To change the hyperlink colours, select View | Options... and click the button on the either the Visited or Unvisited lines. Choose a more suitable colour from the Color dialog and click the OK button. Click the OK button to return to the page and apply the change.

  4. To move to the first hyperlink on the page, and then from hyperlink to hyperlink, press Tab to move forward and Shift-Tab to move backward.

  5. To activate a selected hyperlink, press Enter.

  6. To return to the previous page, press Backspace.
