HRM with the support of the Greater Burnside Business Association has recently had completed an Economic Impact Assessment of the Burnside and City of Lakes Business Park. Led by locally-based economics consultant Canmac Economics Limited the Assessment is intended to better understand the tremendous economic contribution the Parks make to the local, regional and provincial economies. Such knowledge is key as it helps inform decision making around HRM’s business park development strategy and economic development policies and can serve to raise the overall profile of the Parks as important economic generators.
