By-Law Standards promotes a safe, healthy place to live and work by providing education and partnering with other service providers and the community. By-Law Standards responds to property related public safety and quality-of-life issues through the enforcement of municipal legislation by way of site inspection, evidence gathering, and remedy as required.

Streets and Curbside Waste

Streets By-Law S300 which covers improperly placed curbside solid waste, icicles, throwing snow in the street, and curbside grass cutting.

Daytime Noise

By-Law N200 covers noise that unreasonably disturbes a neighbourhood. Daytime noise (8:30 am- 4:30 pm) complaints call 311. Weekend and evening call 902-490-5020 and police will respond.
