Metro Transit Special Service

Please note:


Metro Transit buses will be positioned on Upper Water Street (just past Cornwallis) in downtown Halifax to drop off and pick up passengers heading to the concert and Tall Ship venues.

All colour-coded shuttles will service this location.

Metro Transit buses will be positioned at the same location to service concert-goers when the show is over.

Tall Ships & Kiss Special Shuttle Services:

In order to ensure safe and easy access to the downtown core, four (4) special colour-coded shuttle routes will provide additional service on Saturday, July 18 and Sunday, July 19 from the outskirts of HRM to Upper Water Street.

  • Shuttle service on Saturday, July 18, will begin at 9 am, providing 10 minute round trip service until 12 midnight
  • Shuttle service on Sunday, July 19, will begin at 9 am, providing 10 minute round trip service until 10 pm
  • Special shuttle fares will be $2.25 each way.  Cash fares only will be accepted on shuttles.  No regular Metro Transit passes or transfers will be accepted or issued
  • Special shuttles will provide Accessible Low-Floor (ALF) service
  • Security will be on-site at all four concert shuttle staging areas, both Sackville and Portland Hills Terminals, as well as the ferries and its terminals
  • Passengers are to return to the same staging area for their return shuttle
  • Regular Saturday conventional and Access-A-Bus services apply.  If necessary, regular conventional service will be supplemented
  • If necessary, additional shuttle service will be available after the concert, in order to safely and effectively transport concert-goers out of the downtown core

Blue Shuttle from South Centre Mall to Upper Water Street (across from Purdy's Wharf Towers)

Orange Shuttle from Portland Hills Terminal (servicing Penhorn, Mic Mac and Highfield Terminals) to Upper Water Street (across from Purdy's Wharf Towers)

Green Shuttle from Lacewood Terminal (servicing Mumford Terminal) to Upper Water Street (across from Purdy's Wharf Towers)

Red Shuttle from Sackville Terminal (servicing Cobequid Terminal) to Upper Water Street (across from Purdy's Wharf Towers)

 

Tall Ships & KissAlderney Ferry Service

Alderney & Halifax Ferry Service

  • Regular fares apply - passes and transfers will be accepted on the ferry

Wednesday, July 15 to Sunday, July 19

  • Beginning at 6:30 am, the Dartmouth & Halifax ferry service will provide 15 minute service until 12 midnight. The Halifax ferry will continue on a half hour frequency until 2 am

Monday, July 20

  • Beginning at 6:30 am, Dartmouth & Halifax ferry service will provide 15-minute service until 6 pm, then return to regular routing

Woodside Ferry Service

Wednesday, July 15 to Friday, July 17

  • Ferry service will begin at 6:37 am until 10 pm, providing 30 minute service

Saturday July 18 & Sunday, July 19

  • Ferry service will begin at 7 am until 10 pm, providing 30 minute service

Monday, July 20

  • Ferry service will begin at 6:37 am, providing 30 minute service

 

Tall Ships & Kiss Access-A-Bus (AAB)& Accessible Transit Service

  • AAB service will be available for registered AAB users.  Please call the AAB dispatch in advance for reservations
  • Conventional, Accessible Low-Floor (ALF) routes and ferries are accessible
  • Regular fares apply
