A Solid Track Record of Political Involvement
Councillor David Hendsbee is a familiar face in District 3; having attended the local elementary, junior and senior high schools. He then went on to earn his Bachelor of Commerce degree from Saint Mary’s University. Councillor Hendsbee comes from a large family and understands the value of staying connected with family and friends; therefore there are few meetings, events or community gatherings that occur without his participation.

In addition to serving as Executive Assistant to a provincial Cabinet Minister, he spent four years as Member of Legislative Assembly for the Constituency of Preston.
Municipally, Councillor Hendsbee has over a decade of experience as a Councillor. He has spent the past five years as Halifax Regional Municipality Councillor for District 3, and from 1993 to 1999 as a Halifax County Councillor for District 8 - Preston - The Lakes.
