Pavement Rankings

Have you ever wondered when your road will be re-paved? Or how it stacks up against other streets in District 6?

The links below will take you to the most recent rankings of District 6 streets. Longer streets  may be listed in multiple sections where each section is rated. The column labelled "SDI" is the Surface Distress Index. This index is an indication of the relative condition of your street on a ranking of 0 to 10 where 10 is a brand new street and 0 is the worst condition.

Rankings are updated at least every three years. Streets being considered for work are reviewed before the budget season. Streets for work are chosen in various categories ranging from sealing to resurfacing to complete reconstruction. Variables such as traffic volume on a street or planned sewer, water, or gas work can also impact the ultimate date a street is reconstructed.

For more information on exactly how streets and sidewalks are chosen for work in a given year please visit the infrastructure management website.
