Proposed North Common Site Improvements

HRM hosted an open house on Jan. 20, 2010 to present proposed improvements to the North Common area, also known as the Halifax Common, and gather public insight on the proposals.

HRM plans to undertake the site improvements over several years, with some improvements proposed for spring and summer 2010. The proposals include infrastructure that will support major concerts on the North Commons. For information on the improvements please visit: ttp://www.halifax.ca/RealPropertyPlanning/Common.html

Regional Council will be making a decision on these improvements by the end of March 2010.
