Under the Municipal Government Act, Council is permitted to approve Funds during annual Budget Deliberations to set up Activity Funds which are dispersed by the District Councillor according to a Council Approved Policy.

For the current fiscal year (April 1, 2009 - March 31, 2010) the fund was set at $3,000 for each District.
