Brad (BJ) Johns was elected Councillor for the Halifax Regional Municipality District 19 in November 2000. As a lifelong resident of Sackville, he has been very active within a number of community organizations including Scouts Canada and the Sackville Kinsmen. He was educated at Mount Saint Vincent University and, prior to his election, was employed as a Librarian/Computer Technician with the Halifax Regional School Board. Councillor Johns also owns and operates Bee Jay Audio.
