JEM MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of JEM Teams is to promote awareness of local community resources, to train local agencies to work together and provide a structure for coordinated local emergency response.

We are NOT 1st Responders and we DO NOT replace 911 but...............
If you have, or are aware of, particular needs (food, clothing, shelter, safety, etc.) within the community during a disaster or crisis contact the JEM team at 490-5400

MEETINGS
Meetings are held 12:00 to 2:00 pm on the third Tuesday of each month in the upstairs office at the Sheet Harbour Fire Station or the Eastern Shore Memorial Hospital.
COMMUNITY STATUS REPORTERS
During a community wide emergency crisis CSR's advise the JEM team of the status of their area (roads/ power outages/ flooding, etc.), or of any needs or particular concerns within their home community. These people are residents volunteering their time and information to help communicate needs in a time of crisis. If you would like to volunteer to be a CSR in your area please contact us.
