NRCAN's Idle-Free Zone provides a vast wealth of knowledge regarding idling and why it must be stopped. Also contains many materials which can be downloaded and used free of charge.
The City of Missisauga's Anti-Idling Campaign was one of the first in Canada, and included significant research on the incidence of idling in municipal fleets.
The City of Hamilton's Clean Air Site contains information on Hamilton's reduced-idling program.
The Northern Climate ExChange provides information on reducing idling in Canada's north.
The Connecticut Department of Environmental Education has a site which was developed to reduce idling in Connecticut.
