The Community Facility Master Plan
The Community Facility Master Plan (CFMP) will be presented to Halifax Regional Council on Tuesday, May 27th 2008.
Since January 2008, the CFMP Steering Committee has engaged hundreds of citizens in consultation through several different vehicles, and has benefited from interviews with Councillors and staff members. Several key staff members were formed into a Staff Working Group and provided significant amounts of time, knowledge and expertise to the project.
The result is a comprehensive strategic plan that is integrated with existing documents such as the Economic Strategy, the Regional Planning Strategy, the Cultural Plan, as well as Council Focus areas.

Open Houses
There were six Open Houses held throughout HRM, where citizens learned more about the project, and spoke one on one with the Steering Committee and HRM Staff.
