This concludes the Halifax Harbour Water Quality Sampling Program.
 

Regular sampling resumed in May 2010 on a monthly basis, to check if the water quality objectives (click for details) have been achieved with sewage treatment.  All three of the Harbour Solutions sewage treatment plants in Halifax, Dartmouth and Herring Cove are fully operational. The results confirm that the objectives have been achieved.  Sampling has ended as of September 28, 2010.
