Truck traffic traveling north on Lower Water Street from Terminal Road and Marginal Road should use the alternative truck route on Morris Street.

Motorists are also advised that on or about Monday, June 18th Hollis Street between Salter and Bishop Streets will be reduced to one-lane traffic. The scheduled duration of construction is two weeks.

There will be no parking in the work zone. The sidewalk on both sides of the street should remain open at all times. Municipal service disruptions, if required, will be of short duration and affected residents and businesses will be notified.

Please note, all shops and services adjacent to the work zones will remain open during the construction period.

The hours of work will be Monday to Friday 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., with weekends as required.

Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to ensure smooth traffic flow. On-site personnel will also maintain communication with local residents and businesses to help minimize disruption.

We apologize for any inconvenience this necessary Harbour Solutions Project construction may cause.
