The HR Client Services team provides value added leadership and advice to assist HRM business units in achieving its services and business objectives. The division is decentralized with HR Consultants integrated within the business units for which they provide service. The HR Consultants are the first point of contact when HR issues arise. The team is responsible for building and maintaining collaborative relationships and partnerships when delivering HR advice and services. A proactive approach is taken to anticipate emergent issues and to provide appropriate solutions.

The division is responsible for the development and implementation of HR strategies and key activities to attract, develop and retain a diverse and talented workforce. Key activities include:

Recruitment strategies (planning, sourcing, posting, screening/selecting, and orientation) to fit the client’s business needs.

  • Delivery of focused recruitment strategies through employment outreach activities.
  • Ensures the execution of strategic HR initiatives that successfully align with client business plans.
  • Identifies and facilitates process improvement initiatives for clients.
  • Assist with dispute resolution.
  • Facilitates workforce and succession planning initiatives.
  • Provides advice on performance management and disciplinary matters.
  • Provides consistent approach of policies and practices that require a corporate approach.
