~ Gambling Awareness Nova Scotia
The time has come: the Nova Scotia Gaming Foundation is now officially Gambling Awareness Nova Scotia (GANS)! The name ‘Gambling Awareness Nova Scotia’ is a more adequate reflection of who we are and what we do. We also have a new virtual home: www.TogetherWeCanWin.ca. This new web address speaks to our commitment to support collaboration and build community capacity to reduce gambling harm in Nova Scotia. We cherish the relationships we have established, and we strongly believe in the strength of ongoing, informed dialogue with our stakeholders and community - together, we can win! To help encourage online discussion with and among stakeholders, we established a Gambling Awareness Nova Scotia Facebook page. Social media is a great tool to connect organizations and individuals that share common goals, and it is an excellent instrument to ignite collaboration. We hope that you will ‘like’ our page –as individuals and organizations. Together, we can help raise awareness of gambling harm in our real and virtual communities! |
