What's a zine

A Zine (pronounced "zeen") is a self-published, non-professional publication.  They come in all shapes, sizes and themes and are usually photocopied.

Magazines are for making money, but zines are not.  People make zines to be creative, have fun and share ideas with friends and strangers.

ANYONE can make a zine.  Photocopying is easy and cheap so you can make lots of copies and hand them out. (We can help you with the photocoping!)
