Dr. Tony Charles was appointed to the Board of Halifax Water effective April 1, 2011. Dr. Charles is a professor at Saint Mary’s University with a joint appointment in the Sobey School of Business and the Environmental Studies Program, who works particularly on the sustainable use and management of natural resources. He is one of three residents of Halifax Regional Municipality appointed to the Board by Regional Council.
