The Middle Musquodoboit Public Water Supply Area provides water to over 90 residences and businesses in the community of Middle Musquodoboit.
The water supply area encompasses approximately 33,300 hectares, with a main channel of over 25 km in length.
Stakeholders and users include residents, businesses, agriculture, forestry, mining, as well as tourism and recreation. |

Middle Musquodoboit Water Supply Area Planning Committee
A Middle Musquodoboit Water Supply Area Planning Committee is currently in the early stages of development. The intent of the committee will be to provide support and feedback to Halifax Water on water supply area issues such as source water protection initiatives, local issues of concern, public communication, and promotion of best management practices.
