OBTAIN FURTHER INFORMATION REGARDING A MOTOR VEHICLE TICKET

  • Withdrawal Process: No Insurance/ No Driver’s License Tickets

Effective November 1, 2013, withdrawals of No Insurance and No Driver’s License tickets are now being processed through HRP Headquarters (Gottingen Street Only).  $25 fee will apply per ticket.

If you feel you are not guilty and wish to have the ticket reviewed for withdrawal, you must attend no later than two calendar weeks before the stated due date on your ticket (for other options see the back of your ticket).

  • Required documents for withdrawal:

For Section 230(1) MVA/No Insurance:

  • The green portion of your ticket in the case of a handwritten ticket OR the white copy of the typed electronic ticket.
  • The original insurance card (pink) for the vehicle for which the ticket was issued.
  • The vehicle permit for the vehicle for which the ticket was issued,  The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) on the Vehicle Permit must match the VIN on the insurance card.

For Section 64 MVA/No License:

  • The green portion of your ticket in the case of a handwritten ticket OR the white copy of the typed electronic ticket.

  • A valid driver’s license for the time of the offence displaying the appropriate class of license for the vehicle operated.  The effective to expiry date must cover the date of the ticket issue.
