Media Briefing-Budget 2000/2001
(Friday, February 25/2000)-- There will be a special media briefing (on an embargo basis) on the proposed HRM
2000/2001 Capital and Operating Budgets next Tuesday, prior to the official presentation to Halifax Regional Council
that evening.
The media briefing will be held on Tuesday, February 29th in the Training Room, 1st Floor (basement) City Hall,
beginning at 4 p.m.
Participating media outlets must agree in advance that no information obtained as a result of the briefing, in whole or in
part, will be released to the public prior to the official Budget presentation to Council that evening, beginning at 6 p.m.
