Service to Commemorate Fallen Firefighters

(Wednesday, May 30/2001)-- The Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency Service will host a "Service of Remembrance" this Sunday in memory of those firefighters who lost their lives in the line of duty.

The memorial service will be held on June 3, 2001 at St. George's Anglican Church, Brunswick & Cornwallis Streets, Halifax, beginning at 2:30 p.m.

Firefighters, past and present, their families and members of the public are invited to join members of the Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency Service in remembering these fallen comrades.
