Mainland Common Recreation Centre Board of Directors & Sub-Committees

(Friday, October 24, 2003) - Are you looking for a challenging and exciting opportunity to serve your community?

The Mainland Common Recreation Centre Steering Committee is presently recruiting volunteers for its Board of Directors and Sub-Committees. This is your opportunity to be part of an incredible community driven initiative. The Mainland Common Recreation facility, located off Lacewood Drive by the Keshen Goodman Library, is in the planning stages and needs people of vision and commitment to make it a reality.

A public process has been established to select individuals to the new Mainland Recreation Centre Board of Directors. The deadline for submitting your application and nomination forms is Friday, October 31, 2003. A complete package of information on the terms of reference and the nomination process, along with the application forms, is available at the following locations:

The Keshen Goodman Library, Northcliffe Community Centre, Lakeside Community Centre, Tantallon Library and all HRM Customer Service Centres, or by calling Annette Verge at 490-6889.
