Media Briefing-Budget 2004/2005

(Thursday, April 1/2004)-- There will be a special media briefing (on an embargo basis) regarding the proposed HRM 2004/2005 Capital and Operating Budgets on Tuesday, April 6th, prior to the official presentation to Halifax Regional Council that evening.

The media briefing will be held in the Training Room, 1st Floor (basement) City Hall, 1841 Argyle Street, beginning at 3:30 p.m.

NOTE: Participating media outlets must agree in advance that no information obtained as a result of the briefing, in whole or in part, will be released to the public prior to the official Budget presentation to Council that evening, beginning at 6 p.m. Also, those media representatives must also agree not to discuss the Budget or its contents with the Mayor and Council prior to the document being tabled in Council Chambers.
