Notice of Road Construction
Friday, Apirl 2, 2004- On or about April 5th, 2004, Hollis Street between Sackville and Morris Streets will
be restricted to single lane traffic on a block by block basis. Traffic delays can be expected for a period of
approximately 3 months.
Beginning Monday April 5th, Salter St. between Granville and Hollis Streets will be closed to vehicular
traffic for a period of 3 days.
Residents are also reminded Lower Water St. in front of the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic remains
closed vehicular traffic. This closure is between Sackville St. and Prince Streets during the hours of 7am
and 7pm, Monday through Saturday for approximately the next 2 weeks. Normal service will then
resume for 7 weeks, after which the closure will again be in effect for a short period.
Truck traffic servicing the southend of Halifax, the Port etc...is asked to use alternative routing.
Residents are also asked to use alternative routing. Traffic control personnel will be on site to assist with traffic
flow. We apologize for any inconvenience this necessary construction may cause.
