Road Construction in HRM on Saturday, October 18

(Friday, October 17, 2008) HRM wishes to advise motorists that there will be a number of ongoing HRM road construction projects that will be continuing on Saturday, October 18 and may impact on traffic. Some of the major work is in the following areas:

Bayview Road - Bedford Highway to Gateway Road (Street Closure)
Lacewood Drive - Bayview Road to Evans Avenue
Caldwell Road - Shore Road to Himmelman Drive
Clifford Drive - Cathy Cross Road to Ellenvale Avenue
Windmill Road - inbound from the Magazine Hill to Akerley Boulevard
Windmill Road - Albro Lake Road to Jamieson Street
Windmill Road - Akerley Boulevard to Wright Avenue
Windmill Road @ Stairs Street (there will be stop and go traffic at this location)
Cunard Street - Agricola Street to Robie Street
Chebucto Road @ Mumford Road

Motorists may wish to choose alternate routes if possible. Extreme caution should be exercised when traveling through construction areas.
