Detours for HRM Bike Week on May 27 

The Halifax Criterium Bike Race and the Halifax Bike Week Street  Party will be taking place in the Halifax Commons area on May 27, from 9am to 5pm.

The following detours will be necessary for the routes #6, 7, 18, 80, and 90.

Route #6 Stonehaven: Left on Brunswick Street, right onto Sackville Street, right onto Bell Road, straight onto Quinpool Road, to regular routing. Note that the route #6 Downtown will not be affected.

Routes #7, 80 northbound only: Left on Quinpool Road from Robie Street, right onto Windsor Street, right on Cunard Street, left on Robie Street to regular routing.

Routes #18 & 90 northbound only: Left on Quinpool Road from Robie Street, right onto Windsor Street to regular routing.

Construction on Hollis St/Morris St affecting routes 8 & 90

Construction is scheduled to begin at the intersection of Hollis St/ Morris St on Monday, May 14, 2012

This first phase of the work will require the closure of Morris St from Hollis St, to Lower Water St.

Route 90 towards Water St Terminal will be required to detour via:

• Morris St, right on Barrington, left on South, left on Hollis, right on Terminal Road, left on Lower Water St to resume regular routing

As work continues, posted detours will be adjusted accordingly and may include the outbound Route 8 and 90.

This work is anticipated to last 6-8 weeks.

Bus Stop #6128 (Barrington St (northbound) at Duffus St)

Effective Monday, Jan 12/12, stop #6128 (last northbound bus stop on Barrington before Duffus) will be permanently removed from service with no immediate plans to relocate.
