May is a month of renewal for Metro Transit! See below for a brief preview of what's to come...

Schedule & Routing (a.k.a. "pick") Adjustments

Effective May 29, 2005, the following Metro Transit schedule and routing adjustments will occur:

Route 65 - Astral
Adjustment made to schedule to connect better with the Woodside Ferry.

Route 84 - Glendale
One additional morning and one additional evening trip on route.

Route 54 - Montebello
Hourly daytime service on Sundays.

Route 61 and 14 – Auburn/ North Preston & Leiblin
Connected through-route 7 days a week.

New Portland Hills Terminal

A new transit terminal located at the corner of Portland Street and Portland Hills Drive will become operational on May 29th, 2005.

*Please note that all routes servicing the new Portland Hills Terminal - #59 Colby, #61 Auburn-North Preston, #65 Astral, and #68 Cherrybrook - will have adjusted running times.

New Route - #72 Portland Hills

Effective May 29, 2005, a new accessible route, 72 Portland Hills, will be implemented from new Portland Hills Terminal running to the Metro Transit Bus Garage – 200 Ilsley Ave in Burnside Park, Dartmouth. It will offer Monday to Saturday daytime service.
