Saint Mary's U-Pass

Metro Transit and Saint Mary's University introduced the Transit U-Pass in September 2003, giving all full time Saint Mary's students unlimited access to regular transit services during the academic year (September - April).

Which bus do I take?

Several buses travel to Saint Mary's University:

Route 9 - Barrington

Runs every 1/2 hour, from Tower Rd to Mumford Terminal via Barrington Street. Accessible Low Floor (ALF) bus.

Route 10 - Dalhousie

20 minute service at peak time, 1/2 hour off-peak, hourly service after 6pm. Additional trip leaving MicMac Mall at 7:49 am to Dalhousie.

Route 14 - Leiblin Park

Daily from 6am to 11 pm, every 1/2 hour until 8:00 pm, with hourly service until 11:00 pm between Scotia Square and Mumford Terminals. Please refer to the Riders' Guide for Route 61 (Auburn-North Preston) thru-route information. ALF bus.

Route 17 - Saint Mary's University

Daily 1/2 hour servince from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm between the Lacewood Terminal and SMU.

Route 18 - Universities

Daily from 7 am to 12 midnight, 1/2 hour service throughout, between SMU and the Lacewood Terminal. Three additional afternoon trips, departing SMU to Lacewood at 2:27, 2:55 and 3:40 pm.

Route 61 - Auburn-North Preston

20 minute service during morning peak times, hourly service off-peak times and 1/2 hour service during pm peak times. Daily from 5:30 am to 11 pm, between North Preston and Scotia Square and continues on Route 14 Leiblin Park (please refer to above Route 14 information).
