Community Transit Service Adjustments
Beginning August 27, Community Transit will be incorporated into the conventional transit service group, while retaining its existing service standards.
Therefore, existing community transit routes will be assigned route numbers and bus stops, as follows:
- Route 400 - Beaver Bank Community Transit
- Route 401 - Porters Lake Community Transit
- Route 402 - Sambro Community Transit
As with conventional service, community transit buses will only service designated bus stops. Operators will no longer be able to pick up passengers who are not at a designated stop.

Community Transit Cash Fares
- $2.25 Adult
- $1.50 Child (ages 5-15)
- $1.50 Senior (ages 65 & up)
MetroPass, MetroLink, MetroX, and UPass are accepted on Community Transit.

Important Passenger Information
- Please allow for delays due to winter road conditions, traffic and detours
- Remember to be at your stop a few minutes before the scheduled time of departure
- It is extremely dangerous to cross the road in front of a bus. Please allow for the bus to proceed and then cross
