Metro Transit is committed to providing timely, courteous, and responsive customer service to HRM citizens. Due to the high number of inquiries, complaints and compliments received by Metro Transit, the following customer service standard has been implemented for normal priority requests. Higher priority requests may be managed more quickly than the below stated service standard.
Phone: Return phone call or email within 3 business days upon request.
Emails: Acknowledge receipt of email within 3 business days; more detailed responses will be provided upon request, with the anticipated timeline to be provided in the first response.
Letters: Response placed in the mail within 3 business days upon request.

Lost & Found is located at the Burnside Transit Centre, 200 Ilsley Ave., Dartmouth. Passengers are urged to call
490-6617 to ensure the item has been returned to the centre.
Lost & Found is open from 8 am - 4 pm, Monday to Friday, closed holidays.*
*Lost & Found will be closed on the following dates during the upcoming holiday season:
-Monday, Dec. 26 (Boxing Day)
-Tuesday, Dec. 27 (Holiday for Christmas Day)
-Monday, Jan. 2 (Holiday for New Year's Day)
