What is a transfer?
A transfer is a piece of paper that allows you to connect to other buses
or ferries to complete your one-way trip without
paying an additional fare.
Ferry and Access-A-Bus
passengers may also receive transfers.
Coloured transfers are valid for up to 90 minutes after the last time point on the route and can be used inbound or outbound on any Metro Transit routes and services.
Punch marks specify the issue date, while the tear away indicates the transfer’s expiration time.
Metro Transit asks that passengers request the transfer when boarding the bus or ferry.
Additional transfer fare is required for MetroLink and Community Transit services. |
