Sackville Terminal Park & Ride Overflow Lot #2 behind Wheaton's Store
Please be advised that Metro Transit has signed an official agreement with Wheaton's Store to make additional free Park & Ride space available in the gravel lot behind the store, adjacent to the existing Metro Transit overflow lot.
This additional new lot is located at 27 Walker Avenue. Transit passengers no longer need to register with Wheaton's to use this gravel lot. The area designated for Metro Transit Park & Riders has signs posted. Please do not park on the paved portion of Wheaton’s parking lot, as this is reserved for store customers only.
All vehicles parked outside the designated Park & Ride spaces at Sackville Terminal, and in illegal spaces at the three lots will be subject to ticketing. Clear passage in and around these lots must be maintained for snow clearance and other vehicles.
Park & Ride at Penhorn Terminal is now located at the parking area between the Metro Transit bus terminal and the former WalMart Auto Centre.
The new lot will accommodate the same number of cars with easier access to the Metro Transit terminal.

** Dartmouth Events Plaza lot (Alderney Landing) will be closed occasionally for summer events. (The Park Avenue lot is the alternate parking lot). Please look for the advance notices which will be posted in the Ferry Terminal during such time.
***Woodside Park & Riders are advised that beginning September 1, 2007, parking will no longer be free for everyone. Only those transit passengers with proof of a monthly MetroPass will be eligible for free parking at the Woodside Ferry Terminal, due to increased demand for the lot. Passes are to be shown to the Commissionaire upon entrance to the Park & Ride Lot.

For Alderney Landing:
Alderney Gate Lotto Booth - 60 Alderney Drive, Dartmouth
For hourly parking at Alderney, ticket dispensing ("Pay 'N' Display") machines are located in the parking lot at Alderney.
For Dartmouth Sportsplex:
Dartmouth Sportsplex parking passes are available only at the Sportsplex.
