The Halifax Open Data Catalogue is powered by Esri’s ArcGIS Open Data platform. It has enhanced API functionality for geospatial datasets that allows you to filter by map extents and attributes prior to downloading so that you get only the data you need.
For more information on the ESRI Open Data platform and for developer requirements, please visit ArcGIS Open Data.
The municipality will continually update the Open Data Catalogue and add new datasets. Most of the data is updated on a weekly basis.
The datasets do not contain any personal information.
